2. Data we collect
We collect the personal data you give us directly (contact forms, quote requests, job applications, purchases in the shop) and some browsing data, in anonymous form, through our own visit-measurement tool, which does not use cookies.
- Contact data: first name, last name, email, telephone.
- Account data: if you create an account in the customer area, email and name (also through sign-in with Google, see point 3).
- Purchase data: delivery address and, if you ask for an invoice, billing details.
- Application data: professional field, experience and whatever you tell us in your application.
- Browsing data: pages visited, time spent, referring site, type of device and approximate location (city or country). We do not record your IP address.
3. Customer area account and sign-in with Google
In the customer area you can sign in with email and password or with your Google account (“Continue with Google”). In the second case Google only tells us your name, your email address and your profile picture (the “openid”, “email” and “profile” scopes). We do not receive your Google password and we have no access to any other data in your Google account, such as mail, contacts, documents or calendar.
We use your name and email only to create and recognise your account, to fill in your details on orders and to show you your purchases and bookings. We keep them in our database, hosted in the European Union, for as long as you keep the account. We do not sell them, we do not use them for advertising and we do not share them with third parties, except for the technical providers listed in point 7. You can ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to info@tenutamontevitolo.it, and you can revoke access from the “Security” section of your Google account.
Our use of data received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Purposes and legal bases
- Replying to your requests and handling quotes (performance of a contract / legitimate interest).
- Handling job applications (explicit consent).
- Sending commercial communications and newsletters (explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
- Complying with legal obligations (legal obligation).
- Anonymous, aggregated measurement of visits, with our own tool, to improve the website (legitimate interest).
5. Data retention
Contact data is kept for the time needed to handle your request and for up to 24 months afterwards. Application data is kept for 12 months from receipt, unless you explicitly consent to a longer period. Browsing data, collected anonymously by our measurement tool (without cookies or IP address, see the Cookie Policy), is kept for 26 months at most and then deleted automatically.
6. Rights of the data subject
You have the right to access your data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict its processing, to object to processing and to request data portability. You can exercise these rights by writing to info@tenutamontevitolo.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
7. Disclosure to third parties
Your data is not sold to third parties. It may be shared with technical service providers (hosting and database, sending of emails, card payment, delivery of orders) who act as data processors, in compliance with the GDPR. Visit measurement is in-house: browsing data is not shared with external analytics services.
8. Cookies
